Morning manoushe,
evening mezze.
A small saj bakery and mezze house in Mar Mikhael. We roll out dough for manoushe from first light, and by sunset the tables fill with mezze and charcoal grills.

The saj is lit from dawn.
- Morning manoushe[7:00 – 12:00] · off the saj
- Za’atar, akkawi and kishk, hot from the dome, with mint tea.
- Midday mezze[12:00 – 18:00] · for the whole table
- Hummus, moutabal and fattoush, and a plate of kibbeh straight from the pan.
- Evening grills[18:00 – 24:00] · over charcoal
- Taouk and kafta, and the night runs long over mezze.
Manoushe is on all day. Ask for the manoushe of the day; it changes every morning with the market.
